    He'll be the best AFL player in no time.

    Some fool will come and say he won't be a feather in the cap of the Druggie's son, but Inglis will dominate.

    Whilst it is a blow to the game, the turncoat prick leaving will only help both the Tigers and NSW which is a win for me.

    In my mind, this is the worst fall out of anything to do with the Storm cheating. Should Inglis go then that is a far greater blow then Hunt or Folau.

    I wish there was a simple answer to keeping NRL players in the NRL. The only answer is more money but the cash isn't there to spend.

    He's come out and said he doesn't want to play against the Storm so he's pretty much forced into this or Union being his only options unless the Storm can fit him under the cap.

    What I don't get is why would Essendon want to sign him? People saying he will be one of the best based on what? He's a great athlete so he's got a chance of making it but fmd for 1 million plus a player who might be good... not like they're trying to establish themselves like GWS and the Gold Coast were.

    Really \_/ on it tbh. This shit is getting stale. We can't keep em because we can't match the money the AFL poofs throw up. No point kicking and screaming about it, because there is basically no solution. Best thing to do is give him the thumbs up, give the least amount of headlines to the ****s because thats what it's mostly about and just worry about the ****ing football thats being played.

    Ummm.... ok?

    The NRL is co owned by the ARL and Newslimited who currently pump money into the Melbourne Storm and Brisbane Broncos... no other clubs.

    Every club receives the same grant from the NRL except for the Gold Coast who were given some of their next years grant this year because they are struggling financially.

    They're not giving any extra money to the NSW teams. The last television rights were sold for unders and it's the main revenue for each code. When we get it right we will have more money but that wont be until 2012 and even then it's not guaranteed that Gallop wont **** it up again.

    I can only speak for myself but I am someone who wants to see the best Rugby League players playing in the NRL each weekend. Inglis is a special talent and it would be sad to lose him.

    Highlight reels are so named because they show the best moments in the game. Inglis is a regular in these sort of things and if he leaves then we sadly won't see him add to them.

    Yes, the game will always go on but it may not be with our best players and that to me is something worth trying to avoid, not ignore.

    Its good to see the switch happening imo. I just think its such a stupid move to throw so much money as someone who isn't even proven in our sport. Gary Ablett our best player isn't even getting as much as there guys.

    Not easy to fit a team on champions under the salary cup, especially whilst paying one particular player 1m a season.

    Yeah, but he doesn't seem like a selfish sorta bloke. Seems like a loyal fella who has no reason (besides $$$) to leave the club. His old man was a champion at the club, and im sure he would want to do the same. It's not like he isn't getting well paid at the moment.
