    I didn't really pick up many bargain buys this season. My smartest buy was getting Adam Reynolds for 150k after doing some research and seeing that he was pretty likely to be Souths' kicker.

    Even though I spent 530k on him, I consider Slater to be one of my best buys. Nine Tries and six dp's from 7 games this season is pretty damn good.

    Yeah. I had him last year. He went ok in NNRL.

    I'm looking forward to Glenn Stewart being back. My issue in the last couple of weeks has been simply not getting enough out of my forwards. On my day, my team will beat anyone in the comp due to having a much stronger back line than forward pack.

    Yeah. I'd prefer it to be the other way around. It was definitely my tactic this year to splash out some cash on blokes like Slater, DCE, Inglis as I never have good DF scoring backs but it wasn't going to heavily affect my forwards until I missed out on a couple of DF certainties by mere thousands. Now I reckon I'll be happy just to coast into the finals around 4th and then hope for a couple of rounds of arsiness, which I know my side's capable of.
