Galloway is the form prop of the comp, and can play Prop and Second Row.

If I had to chose a prop out of the 40 to be in my team, it would be Bailey, but only just ahead of Galloway.

Your view would be different if he played for the Roosters.

Best Origin props from the squad. I would have liked Mason to be there though.

    Cross is ****ing useless.

    You cant be serious.

    He does nothing

At club level yeah I agree but Cross played well in Game III last year. If someone gets picked and plays well they should not be dropped.

    Indeed.

However where does that leave Anthony Quinn? He wasn't exactly poor last year in Origin. He was okay, and scored twice in Game I.

There's no denying Monaghan and Hayne are better Origin players.

So because Cross played one good game last year, he should automatically get selected ahead of someone who is outperforming him dramatically this year?

Its mindsets like that, that have caused us to lose the last three series.

Picking blokes that have done well in the past that are currently playing like shit, hoping they will step up for the Origin.

Just pick ****s on form FFS.

That's what Queensland have consistently done with ****s like Nate Myles who carve us up every ****ing year without fail, actually...

    Yes it would.

Nate Myles is a bit more of an established player then Ben Cross.

Yeah, **** players who have proven they're good over the course of their careers. **** players who have proven they can take the step up without getting overawed, technically exposed or have their games found out at rep level.

Let's pick blokes who have been playing well for the last twenty-five seconds.

Let's leave out Wallace because his form has been down.. Luke Branighan has been carving it up in the local A grade comp. Form is excellent.... ability: who cares?!

    Anthony Quinn shouldn't be there.

I'm personally not that big a fan of Monaghan either while we're on the subject.

Yeah, but he wasn't when they picked him for his third Origin game. His club form was terrible at the time but they did it anyway. Worked out for them, didn't it?

There's a myth around that the Queensland selectors pick more on form than the NSW selectors. The opposite is true - Queensland always opt for players who have proven they can do it for them in the past. NSW do have a habit of turning back to the same blokes in a revolving-door-type manner but there's a difference between that and picking someone who has actually done well at Origin before.

There's no way Queensland would be dropping Cross right now. No way in hell.

Does one half decent game really deserve another call up? Why was Cross picked last year? No doubt cos he was in form and came up and had a good game.

  18. Cribbage RG Cribb

He was diabolical in Game III. Outclassed.

  19. Cribbage RG Cribb

It's not "another call-up". It's a retention. Just don't drop him. There's a big difference - you shouldn't actually be picking your team from scratch every year.

Cross does not deserved to be selected.

    End of story.
