For 3 months and 22 days (or 114 days) This is my playlist count for Spotify: (So doesn't include iPod listens and all that) Red Hot Chili Peppers - 674 The Used - 162 Awolnation - 137 The Kooks - 88 and since Spotify has a shithouse history feature I only know 4 top listened to artists.....so yeah there's more but hmm. Notable mentions: Coldplay, The Strokes, The Wombats, Fun, Three Days Grace, The Hives, Cage the Elephant
How did you work that out Reginald? Didn't think Spotify had a play count feature. Actually, just off your facebook page update thing it does? If so, this last month or so is: Japandroids - 47 listens Civil Civic - 41 listens Unwound - 33 listens Tommy Guerrero - 30 listens Mentions to Drive Like Jehu, Cloud Nothings, Blacklisted and Title Fight.
Through FB. It tells you 4 top artists (based on plays), top 4 songs, albums etc. I know my personal playlist has had 1130 listens and I've listened to 3547 songs. It doesn't really tell you much more than that.
Yeah I just remembered before about the update thing. Would be handy if it had some kind of history/play count feature, really not sure why it wouldn't. It's currently signed in with my girlfriends account so through my listening habits she appears to be into the good stuff like Massive Attack, Sonic Youth and the Cure.
My last 6 months Girl Talk - 813 The Shins - 748 Gnarls Barkley - 459 Gorillaz - 392 Band of Horses - 266 Leonard Cohen - 241 Florence + the Machine - 240 Ben Folds - 236 Foster the People - 209 Foals - 190 Gnarls Barkley is a surprise. GT and The Shins make sense as i went to both of the concerts they had recently.
I haven't listened to the whole album yet, just Head in The Ceiling fan which I really liked - if it's any indication they're going for longer songs and expanding, which I think is cool. Shed had so many great tracks though, Coxton Yard in particular never ever fails to get me pumped up.
Alright, Internet is back, So here you go. Witters: http://www.last.fm/user/PaulFromOz You might know them, but I reccomend; Teenage Bottlerocket The Dopamines Dear Landlord The Copyrights Screeching Weasel The Riverdales 98 Mute cbf posting more
2,866 artists overall Overall: The Lillingtons Black Flag Circle Jerks Teenage Bottlerocket NOFX The Copyrights The Queers Misfits Screeching Weasel The Bouncing Souls I've mellowed out the past year or 2, But last 3 months Johnny Cash Luluc American Steel Teenage Bottlerocket Cypress Hill Neutral Milk Hotel The Ataris New Orleans Rhythm Kings The Lumineers Bix Beiderbecke
Nobody ever enjoys me saying this but I reckon they're twice the band they are when they drop the whole over the top throaty growls and screaming act. That's why I love the few new songs I've heard. Vocally I think the new tracks have the perfect balance between Post Hardcore and Punk and it's shaping up to be an incredible album. The song Make You Cry is a perfect example of this and it kinda reminds of of American Homes or Ignescent by Mockingbird Wish Me Luck. Cheers for this mate. As always I have much love for Teenage Bottlerockets and The Copyrights. I reckon I prefer The Riverdales to Screaching Weasel so that's proving to be a fantastic recommendation. Ben Weasel is great!
Pretty sure it's by chairlift, they've had some really good songs but I don't think they've ever made the hottest 100, I loved a song of theirs called bruises a few years ago. Where do they hold the Melbourne BDO? I've never enjoyed the sydney one.
