The world needs more Cooper Vuna.
Jason Robinson surely
Yup, top shout.
Is Jason Robinson the only ex-league player to have won a union world cup?
Sonny Bill Williams played in the last final and won. Albeit for a couple of minutes.
Yeah for sure
Yup. It's not close either. Without doubt the best league to union convert.
Brad Thorn played all of it, didn't he?
Brad Thorn yes.
Eion Crossan no.
Thorn did it all didn't he?
League Premiership, Origin, Test
Union Premiership, World Cup?, Tri Nations, Bledisloe and pretty sure he won a title in France?
He had longevity in his career also, playing very physical positions in both code. Such a champ.
He's won the Heineken Cup and the Super Rugby title as well. Add in a couple of NPC titles and the Ranfurly Shield.
It's Thorn that's the most successful by far.
Did he win the League world cup at all?
Don't think so, though neither did Robinson IIRC.
How is Thorn still playing well at his age?
Andy Farrell worth a shout.
Folau missing from the OP but he did convert to AFL first.
Folau is in the OP.
