I'm sorry but this side right now is pretty awful. A lot of promise, and a few guns, but for now I imagine it'll struggle big time. The main relative strength is the midfield, but even then it's not that good compared to other sides.

Prediction: Will probably be up there with the best by CPL Season 8 or something, but for now it's pretty poor. Bottom 4 is likely.

    Tall Trees (Jager)

FB: Ryan Schoenmakers - Daniel Talia - Brent Guerra
HB: Rhys Palmer - Eric Mackenzie - Joel Patfull
C: Brett Deledio - Patrick Dangerfield - Travis Varcoe
HF: David Armitage - Sam Day - Daniel Menzel
FF: Mark Lecras - Jay Schulz - Jonathon Griffin
R: Hamish McIntosh - Daniel Hannebery - Jack Ziebell
Interchange: Devon Smith - Jason Porplyzia - Clinton Jones - Andrew Embley

Tricky side to judge. The midfield has some gun players, and I like the ruck division quite a bit. However, the depth is poor, if injuries hit they'll probably need to rely on inexperienced guys who are very unproven at this level. Also, I find the backline too shutdown orientated, it might be hard for them to adequately get the ball down to their end unless their midfield dominates.

Prediction: Probably around the also-ran category due to some structural concerns. If injuries hit they could finish towards the bottom.

    Sesame Street Muppet Punchers (Jabba)

    FB: M Hibberd B Lake D Myers
    HB: J Hunt T McDonald S Gilbert
    C: S Sidebottom D Thomas L Jetta
    HF: L Breust L Franklin H Ballantyne
    FF: C Mayne J Roughead A Goodes
    R: M Pyke B Sewell J McVeigh
    Int: L Dunn M Rosa D Cross S Grigg

Really gun forward line, and the midfield should give them adequate supply, so they'll have no shortage of goals. However, the defence is pretty ordinary, and depth could be a big concern.

Prediction: Have enough strengths to pull shit out of their arses and cause some major upsets, but they'll be kinda match-up dependent, most likely they miss the Top 8.

    Chokers (Harps)

FB: Nick Duigan - Tom Lonergan - Tim Mohr
HB: Paul Duffield - Phil Davis - Jarrod Harbrow
C: Andrew Gaff - Liam Shiels - Isaac Smith
HF: Robbie Gray - Justin Westhoff - Aaron Black
FF: Jeff Garlett - Sam Reid - Jake King
R: Todd Goldstein - Marc Murphy - Andrew Swallow
IC: Shaun Atley - Ash Smith - Kieran Harper - Sam Gibson

OK lineup, but the midfield seems to be carrying some mediocre players, and the backline lacks real inspiration IMO. Their 15-22 looks pretty ordinary too. Do like the forward line though, even if it lacks a gun power KPF.

Prediction: Top 8 is possible, but it's most likely they'll be one of those 10-13 sort of sides.

    CW Mullets United (Shagger)

    FB: Nick Maxwell (K50) - Josh Gibson (K50) - Colin Garland (K50)
    HB: Heretier O'Brien (30) - Andy Otten (K40) - C.Enright (30)
C: Brent Maloney - Luke Hodge - David Zaharakis
HF: Matthew Stokes - Quinten Lynch (K)- Chad Wingard (goal attacking)
FF: Ricky Petterd - Tom Hawkins (K) - Mark Jamar (K)
R: Aaron Sandilands - Dustin Martin (goal attacking) - Ryan O'Keefe
Int: Ollie Wines - Dean Terlich - Garrick Ibbotson
    Sub: Bret Thornton

Pretty good side. Not really a lot to fault. Perhaps it lacks the inspiration of other sides, but most players are worthy of selection and add to the side. Perhaps it lacks true stars, but it's not like the side is completely devoid of stars.

Prediction: Top 8 seems likely. Could even challenge the Top 4.

B: Dustin Fletcher - Darren Glass - Jasper Pittard
HB: Bryce Gibbs - Scott Thompson - Nick Smith
C: Jack Redden - Luke Parker - Brent Harvey
HF: Dayne Zorko - Jared Waite - Steve Johnson
F: Ahmed Saad - Jack Darling - Sam Dwyer
R: Will Minson - Andrew Carrazzo - Gary Ablett
Int: Scott McMahon - Liam Anthony - Setanta OhAilpin
    SUB: Luke McGuane

Interesting side. Some players are really gun, there are no problems with the midfield and the spine is good too. The depth however is a major concern. Even in the starting lineup, there are quite a few players who are somewhat below the standard required. It also lacks balance, the backline is somewhat too shutdown oriented, and the forward line lacks runners, requiring midfielders to fill gaps up front.

Prediction: If their stars fire they could go really well. But it's also possible they could straggle if things go wrong. Probably a narrow miss from the Top 8.

Surely you have someone better than Saad? Every time I've seen him play for St Kilda, he's been dross.

That lineup was made a couple of months ago, he probably wouldn't make it now given improvements in some of my other players.

    Cornhusslers (El Nino)

    FB: D. Roberton H. Grundy T. Pears

    HB: M. Sucking T. Chaplin A. Cooney

    C: N. Jones R. Griffen L. Hayes

    HF: P. Chapman N. Riewoldt R.Douglas

    R: B. McEvoy J. Selwood C. Ward

    Int: T.Scully, J.Giles, J.Melksham, S.Butler

Sick side. With the exception of the FF line virtually everything about this side is gun. The forward line isn't that good, although it does contain some fucking handy players, but you have one of the better midfields and a strong, balanced back line.

Prediction: One of the main contenders, and should finish Top 4.

    Straight Outta Springvale (PaulFromOz)

FB: Jack Grimes, Ben Rutten Greg Broughton
HB: Brendan Goddard, Nathan Grima, Pearce Hanley
C: Ryan Crowley, Matthew Priddis, Clancee Pearce
HF: Brent Stanton, James Podsiadly, Angus Monfries
FF: Eddie Betts, Josh Kennedy, Jake Neade
R: Shane Mumford, Trent Cotchin, Tom Liberatore
INT: Adam Treloar, Heath Scotland, Max Bailey, Matthew Broadbent

Another really, really good lineup. Very little to fault here, strong balance of players. Maybe the spine could be better down back, but it's a minor flaw to a great side. The midfield in particular is pretty gun.

Prediction: Top 8 is certain. Very good shot of making the Top 4 too.
