Bored, so doing this as a project. Using the lineup's from the lineup threads as their starting 22 unless other specified.

    Comments, critique, etc. is appreciated.

    MILF Hunters (Dirk Diggler)

FB: Brandon Ellis - Jake Carlisle - Ben Stratton
HB: Shaun Burgoyne - Ben Reid - Grant Birchall
    C: Jaeger O'Meara - Jobe Watson - Stephen Hill
HF: Brendan Whitecross - Charlie Dixon - Stephen Motlop
FF: Brandon Matera - Taylor Walker - Jeremy Howe
R: Sam Jacobs - Nathan Van Berlo - Jack Trengove
Int: Jared Polec - George Horlin-Smith - Mark Nicoski
    Sub: Anothony Morabito

Nearly everything about this forward and back line is awesome. Gun keys, and strong outside players. More impressively, both Carlisle and Reid can swing up front, giving them another X-factor in scoring goals. Jacobs is a strong ruck, and Dixon should give him some relief. Will they get enough carry though? This midfield seems worryingly inexperienced apart from Watson, and because of that this side will probably finish around the 5-8 category. If their midfielders develop as they should, then it could become one of the big gun sides, given that their other lines aren't exactly old.

Prediction: For Season 1, bottom half of the Top 8 is likely. For now, it lacks a second Rolls-Royce midfielder.

    The Jets (Benny)

    B: Dempster LRT Shaw
    HB: Murphy Bock Fisher
    C: Montagna Jack Dal Santo
    HF: Schneider Pavlich Shiel
    FF: Vickery White Milne
    R: Smith Judd Barlow
    Int: Black, McKenzie, Lynch
    Sub: Swallow

Benny's side is pretty simple - gun outside players & mids, but a meh spine. The midfield looks mint, and the backline has some handy rebounders at least. My concern comes around the forward line - Pavlich misses more games than he plays, he's old, and doesn't kick as many goals as he used to, White while having improved hasn't really been a pure FF lately and his form could just as easily be a golden patch, and it lacks a real gamebreaker up front with Milne and Pavlich declining.

I also query his key defenders. Bock has basically missed two years of football due to a broken leg, and given his age I wonder if he will recover from it fully, and LRT while having versatility is hardly the sort of player to bring shivers down your spine.

Age for this side could be a concern, particularly down back. A lot of these guys seem to be around 30+, so he'd need to draft shrewdly for the next few drafts to keep his momentum up.

Prediction: Probably a narrow miss in the finals due to concerns around the forward line and key defenders. But really he could finish anywhere from the Top 8, to near the bottom.

    Native Tongues (Mousey)
FB Jed Adcock - James Frawley - Jared Rivers
HB Shannon Hurn - Harry Taylor - Steven Morris
C Mitch Wallis - Jimmy Bartel - Ryan Bastinac
HF Jack Gunston - Jonathan Brown - Cyril Rioli
FF Michael Walters - Mitch Clark - Jake Stringer
R Darren Jolly - Dayne Beams - James Kelly
Int Shane Edwards - Joel Corey - Dion Prestia - Gary Rohan

Very little to fault about this lineup. The backline is class, the midfield is class, and the forward line has some excellent players. In terms of the starting 22, it really should go close to winning.

However, it's not all rainbows and lollipops for the Tongues. His key forwards, while good, are also quite injury-prone, and it remains to be seen how well they can hold out for a season. His depth also feels weak in comparison to the other big guns, so if injuries hit the Tongues could struggle slightly.

Prediction: Premiership favourites if they stay fit. But they may fade slightly if not.

    THE DEREKS (Skippos)
    Code:
    FB: J. Brennan L. Henderson B. Reilly
    HB: H. Hartlett A. Rance J. Watts
    C: R. Sloane L. Ball A. Mullett
    HF: T. Rockliff P. Ryder S. Higgins
    FF: C. Sylvia C. Dawes M. Wright
    R: N. Naitanui N. Fyfe B. Ebert
    IC: A. Siposs R. Henderson L. Whitfield J. Winderlich
Outstanding side. My only concern may be the lack of an elite KPF, but given the midfield, which would rival most in the comp, they'll get enough I50's to get a winning score.

The scary thing about the lineup is the age of most of these players. With the exception of Ball much of their midfield is still only in their early 20's, and the depth are largely youngsters. This side could easily dominate for a long time in CFL.

Prediction: Top 4 for sure, and one of the main contenders.

    Flying Porcupines (Theo)

    B:
Dylan Grimes - Daniel Merrett - Chris Newman
HB: Nick Malceski - Jackson Trengrove - Courtenay Dempsey
C: Bachar Houli - Nathan Foley - Kane Cornes
HF: Jordan Lewis - Michael Hurley - Reece Conca
F: Shannon Byrnes - Kurt Tippett - Jarryd Blair
R: Matthew Kreuzer - Dane Swan - Luke Shuey
INT: Shane Tuck - Jude Bolton - Chad Cornes - Kane Lucas

Another pretty strong lineup, this lineup has few weaknesses, and quite a few big guns. The depth is reasonable too. Spine looks class, and there are plenty of strong players around the ground.

One concern I do have is that several of their starting players while not bad, seem weak in comparison to other big gun sides. It's not really much to be concerned about for most sides, but they may be exploited against the contenders.

This side also has quite a lot of older players, although many of them aren't really his stars.

Prediction: Top 8 is pretty much certain. Can make the Top 4 but it depends on how well his less players step up.

Yeh. My 22 is well outdated iirc there. Correct one on the last page of my thread
    Code:
    FB:	M. Shaw A. Rance A. Mullett
    HB:	H. Hartlett R. Thompson R. Henderson
    C:	T. Rockliff R. Sloane N. Fyfe
    HF:	T. Lynch J. Watts C. Sylvia
    FF:	J. Winderlich L. Henderson S. Higgins
    R:	N. Naitanui B. Ebert L. Ball
IC:	P. Ryder T. Mitchell M. Wright D. Cassisi (SUB)
    EMG:	B. Reilly C. Dawes J. Brennan

    OMIT: A. Siposs, L. Whitfield, J. Daniher, B. Longer, T. Hickey, A. Cordy, J. Hogan, J. Macrae, N. Haynes
Henderson and watts is a decent kpf unit IMO. Beats Ryder and Dawes.

Sending winderlich, lynch, Henderson and watts forward, Thompson and mullett into defence and rockliff into the midfield with Tom Mitchell and Cassisi on the bench significantly strengthens my 22 IMO

    Smooth Movers (jimmy_c8)

FB: Michael Johnson - Ted Richards - Alan Toovey
HB Dyson Heppell - Jordan Roughead - Josh Caddy
C: Daniel Wells - Josh P Kennedy - Kade Simpson
HF: Jeremy Cameron - Travis Cloke - Mitch Robinson
FF: Andrew Walker -Kepler Bradley - Alex Fasolo
Foll: Ivan Maric - Travis Boak - Andrew Raines
Inter: Brock McLean - Paul Seedsman - Paul Puopolo - Bernie Vince

Super side. Very strong spinal options, and the midfield is gold. Is there anything holding the side back? My only concern could be about their outside players in the back and forward line. It seems a lot of them are midfielders or KPP's, and it could drag the sides balance down. I also worry about the starting rucks, Bradley will be one of the weaker back-ups and I fear it might hurt Maric's output somewhat.

Prediction: Top 4 on paper, but will their balance hurt them?

    ITSTL.

I think the line up for Alessi and I is in our team thread, not in the team sheets thread.

  15. Skippos SM Morgan

Johnson -> CHB, walker -> BP, seedsman swaps with caddy and poppy fills the forward line vacancy and it looks 100 times better. Cameron to FF and Bradley in the pocket too.

Fucks Roughead off too - only a stop gap kpd IMO

  16. MatthewJay TA Miokovic

    Roughead is deceivingly good.

    Peptides Football Club (brettman135)

    FB: Alex Johnson (21) - Cale Hooker (24) - Brett Goodes (29)
    HB: Beau Waters (27) - Luke McPharlin (31) - Heath Shaw (27)
    C: Jack Steven (23) - Scott Pendlebury (25) - Ben Howlett (24)
    HF: Mitch Duncan (21) - Drew Petrie (30) - Leigh Adams (25)
    FF: Ben McGlynn (27) - Stewart Crameri (24) - Lindsay Thomas (25)
    Foll: Matthew Leuenberger (24) - Matthew Boyd (30) - David Mundy (27)

    Inter: Daniel Kerr (29) - Matt DeBoer (23) - Rhys Stanley (22) - Jarryn Geary (24)

Strong side. In particular the backline is gun, and the midfield has some excellent players. Forward line a vague concern, though - Petrie isn't young and it seems to be that they'll have a few players there that aren't really that good. Nevertheless, it's only a small flaw in a solid lineup.

Prediction: Top 8 is likely. Can make the Top 4 but it depends on what the other big guns do.

    The Mighty Heefs (MightyPies/HeathDavisSpeed)

FB: Dale Morris - Nathan Brown - Matthew Jaensch
HB: Chris Yarran - Mitch Brown - Andrew Mackie
M: Sharrod Wellingham - Scott Selwood - Ben Cunnington
HF: Chris Knights - Stefan Martin - Chris Masten
FF: Josh Hill - Jack Riewoldt - David Hale
R: Dean Cox - Daniel Rich - Nick Lower
Int: Jamie Elliot - Stephen Coniglio - Daniel Giansiracusa - Mitch Golby

OK side but hardly what you'd call strong. Might be the weakest midfield in the comp here. The offensive games of their key backs are nothing to write home about, although their other backs are good. Forward line isn't too bad though, and they have a good ruck rotation. Depth looks OK, I guess.

Prediction: One of the weaker sides in the comp, I have to say. Likely bottom 4 material.
