So what I am getting from this is the Lannister's rhyme with my surname and are evil BUT they are also good. So with all this going on we have Aerys who is evil and a mountain came crashing down on CEVNO.
Athlai and myself would also know. Thinking - if Tywin is mafia, then there is a good chance Eds can talk to him. Wouldn't be surprised if Eds had a godfather role or something, where he appears town but is actually mafia. Leave him for now though
From prier experience I'd say that Eds is either a neutral role like a lyncher or something OR he is like you say a Godfather.
That's a point. Could try and get Arys Lynched. But seeing as we're anon it's unlikely. Another option could be win conditions similar to Ritchie's last time. Investigate one person a night, if they're Arys then they die. Though as a Kingsguard member he'll be with Arys all the time anyway
Former wouldn't work. Unless I think it's possible that Eds has an individual win condition not dissimilar to Ritchie's from last game. Every night he gets to investigate someone and if they're Aerys he kills them and fulfills his win condition?
Lol, I'm honestly confused. First time playing in a while (not including Epic Mafia) and not reading the book ftl.
If anything, I think it might be that Eds changes roles if the number of mafia gets close to us townies.
I still think it's unlikely as the Kingsguard will be with Arys all the time. Also I imagine there will be other Kingsguard (Arthur Dayne, Barriston Selmy, Gerold Hightower, Jonathor Darry, 1 other whos name escapes me) who may be bodyguards for Arys/Rhaegar. Considering Arthur Dayne is supposedly one of the best swords in the kingdom he could have a vigilante role though
One observation is Tarty being silenced. Not particularly sure what to make of it but I'm inclined to think he's town given silencers are generally mafia roles, but don't rule out them using it on one of their own. I did make the silencer a town role in MK mafia so I'm not sure. hmmmmmm. A bit confused about what to make of Eds being outed in the write-up. Generally when roles are outed in write-ups from my experience, they're not the truth but I guess it could be true if it is Morgie's on death ability - an oracle of sorts. 2 killers is concerning as well.
Yeh. But he does mention that he hated the King, and how much of an imbecile Arys was etc in the books. Which is why he may be mafia. How many mafia are there? Last game of 27 there were 9 (outworld + netherrealm) which is a third. So 6? We know of: Robert Baratheon Gregor Clegane I'm certain Jon Aryn and Eddard Stark will be two. There's then Hoster Tully who may be one, and Tywin Lannister. But the latter sits on the fence the entire time before joining Robert when he wins. So he may be neutral and have a survive till the end condition. There's certainly room for Jamie to be potential mafia, but just as likely that he's not. Therefore I say we leave Eds for now
The thing is it still would have been a random choice - assuming his ability was to reveal one person on death, he would have selected based on their cricsim name, he couldn't have known which character he was selecting.
