    Skippos (I think it was him?) didn't sign a contract, Zakaron's contract was invalid because he didn't put a salary down, so neither had a contract.

    Don't really think there should be a points deduction for "invalid contract" but Skippos playing without a contract at all should be punished.

    So he is playing for the Giants and isn't taking up any salary cap....

    I'm sure a lot of NRL clubs would love to have the ability to pay players nothing and not get in trouble.

    Zakaron's contract was deleted so he didn't have one, meaning he was playing without one.

    Giants should look at themselves before looking to blame me, imagine if it hadn't been discovered until the end of the season and they won the competition? What would've happened then.

    The punishment isn't all that harsh, over the course of the season you can win up to 60 points, you've had 6 deducted leaving you with 1 point. 10 games to go means you can win up to 50 more points, 51 is definitely enopugh to win the title. So STFU it's not that bad.

    Yeah, but does 6 points deduction, plus $500,000 seem a bit too much?

    It's just a mistake. A fine of $500,000 is more than enough.

    Hmm interesting. Was Zackaron told he needed to resign?

    I think that tbh, when the sim crashed the Giants Vikings game should have been resimmed. And Eds should have made the database direct from the contracts thread... if they don't have a contract they dont have a player.

    However CCG and whoever is CoS should have known exactly who was in the squad and who wasn't, and had this happened in RL similar action would have taken place.

    Giants moaning is stupid though, blame whoever you like but at the end of the day it was still your CoS who named 3 unregistered players in your team.

    Personally I'm dissapointed with the point deduction. Makes the competition less open.

    The thing is.. it does happen in RL, Eds used the Azeem Rafique example. In most circumstances it results in the team being removed from the competiton. In this all that has happened is they have had the points they have accumulated thus far removed. Fair IMO.

    What I'd like to know is how the fitness of these players was actually determined if they didn't have contracts. Shouldn't the snag have been hit when Eds tried to set fitness values?
