In all seriousness, this guys seems to be such a class act as a manager. Importantly for Liverpool he has also done something meaningful at a big club, which means he has actually won something. Rodgers seemed to have plenty of talk, ring binders full of it in fact, but he has never shown he could produce the finished product and perhaps that was in the end the biggest issue for him. Without Gerrard I see absolutely no redeeming feature about Liverpool nowadays, but it would be great to see them back as a big club. England having 5 big teams fighting it out would really be something, plus the likes of Spurs and Everton chipping away beneath them.
