wasn't expecting that at all. Thought the Windies had no chance tbph. Cracking stuff from Speirz 1st up and some decent middle order runs, but total turn around 2 time out. Cricsim have it all to do, in the 2 remaining tests.
I know the spinners killed the Windies in the first test, but playing 3 with only 2 seamers killed us a bit I think. Put alot of pressure on Tyson and Bullpitt who in all honesty didn't bowl brilliantly, though they weren't helped by the pitch. And King got hit around a bit too. Ah hindsight. Think playing Man/Farnsworth in the next test is worthwhile. Well batted Spiers and Lewis, and well bowled Wilson. Slogga in for Bedsey :ninja: Bit of a shock result really.
Rob, I've heard you say that Stinger Dome is spinner friendly a few times. I swear it's only 4, 4, 6 though. Anyway, I was pretty surprised to be playing and I don't really think that I should have been but I wasn't

Obviously you need to pick a reasonable team. Ged is reaaally pushing for contention and if he was inactive would still have a chance. Who could you pick instead of Snake or Rusty that should reasonably make a Test side?
The reason he was picked had nothing to do with him activily following it though. It is because spin has been tearing the Windies apart.
Stop talking bollocks. Cribb has already stated it's got nothing to do with activity. If you wanted an active test side. 1. DG Speirs 2. JRE Luffman 3. BJT Manero 4. BJ Gemmell 5. AJ Parker 6. DW Lewis 7. JB Dempsey 8. L Tyson 9. S Wilson 10. C Man 11. AP Farnsworth 12. GEC King
