    10 overs: India 49/3

India's top order was left reeling thanks to a devastating first over by Andrew James. The CricSim quick smashed one through Rahane's defences for his first ball of the match, and two balls later Virat Kohli was heading back to the pavilion for 0 after being rapped on the pads.

After that it was two completely different games. Dhawan struggling disjointedly before losing his off stump to Dyer, and meanwhile, Rohit Sharma making 34 off 32 balls with all five of India's boundaries. Despite Sharma's serene progress, the game was slipping away from the Champion's Trophy holders.

    20 overs: India 106/3

Rohit Sharma continued to be India's main hope in the chase as he made his way past fifty at better than a run a ball. Squeak Scolari was tight on debut, but Alger especially leaked runs at the other end, being hit four times back down the ground for four.

Stop bowling half volleys Langdon, fuck.

    30 overs: India 176/6

CricSim maintained their hold on the semi final thanks to the performance of their debutants. Squeak Scolari was rewarded for keeping his head when others were losing the plot, picking up the big wicket of Rohit Sharma for 70. When Jono Chewie looked like he might be leaking runs too - with MS Dhoni accumulating a fifty almost unnoticed - the ball was thrown to Devon Mace. The legspinner got repeatedly belted for runs in between winning the game for his team, with first the wicket of Dhoni followed by that of Yuvraj in his next over.

Ashwin and Jadeja kept the scoring rate up, but India were still 120 short of the victory.

    40 overs: India 242/8

The two Indian spinner launched after Cricsim's bowling, with even the returning James and the previously miserly Scolari doing little to stem the flow. The pair smashed their way to 235, needing only 62 from 13 overs, when Scolari made the crucial breakthrough, beating Ashwin for pace and trapping the allrounder in front. Shortly after, Mace grabbed the wicket of Pandya for a duck. Cricsim looked to have survived the scare, but with Jadeja raising an inbeaten fifty from 39 balls, the game was still on.

40.2 overs: India 242 all out

Actually, it was over. Devon Mace marked a memorbale debut with a five-for. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar missed a straight one, Jasprit Bumrah hacked his first delivery straight up in the air. A swift end to send CricSim to the final!

Mace's first spell was so funny, he had something like 2-25 in three overs. This is when India were ahead of the rate and just needed a steady partnership to get right back in it.

Scolari was gun with bat and ball. Really didn't feel right to leave him out of POTS so I fudged it.

Fantastic win that. Good to finally convert a 50 into 100 as well.

Might have bought myself 1 more chance with that

Excellent. A win plus my replacement failed miserably.

There are still more replacements about, don't feel too comfortable just yet.

They’ll fall one by one. Bangladesh regularly recalls crap fast bowlers averaging 50.

  18. Baxter MJ Deane

I wouldn’t say Mace failed?

Idk who replaced me but I meant Alger

Scolari replaced you and was great.
