President CCG has today announced that ZA Berkuta will be joining the club for Season 2, bolstering the albeit inexperienced front row, once he finishes the details of his contract. "He's a great guy to have on board" and "Hopefully he'll blossom on the field," were some words from teammates as they came off the training ground on Saturday morning to hear the news. As well as this, CCG confirmed to the players that Gary Weaver was to take on the role of Chairman of Selectors for the Giants. A well respected player and member alike, Golding expects Gazza to help attract big signings to the club. "I think Gary is the man for the role; he's well respected and get's to business on the field. Not only this, but he can pull strings which could help us when recruitment for Season 3 comes around." This seems to cap off a decent week for the Giants, who are all awaiting the Pre-Season Tournament to finish so that they can play as their official clubs again and begin their defence of the Seasonal Rugby crown.
