He'll only be spec summary or something though cos he has terrible technique and his fielding isn't high enough
I fucking get that. That's the same annoying answer I got on the FTP forums which ignores my actual question which is - Why ONE now, ONE later rather than TWO now?
was talking about his keeping only. I went afk for like 4 seasons hence all my playes being 1 skilled.
And you're involved in the Canadian community too? I've been on their offsite, and if you have access to the whole thing then it's pretty active.
There'd only be a fixed number of people who would want to join a new league so if they made two leagues then it'd split the teams up too much and there wouldn't be as many teams into a particular league.
Nah. That makes no sense as you'd still get the same problem when you admit the 2nd league, if that was the case. People who would join the Dutch wouldn't join the Canadian leagues and vice-versa. There's a small number of people who would move for the sake of moving. The big gain from my point of view if the default youth draft. I pulled a superb player this week, but the bastard defaulted to NZ rather than Canada. Why the fuck does this happen? Gives a pretty significant advantage to the team who gains the league IMO.
There'll be a number of people who want to move because of the country, and then a number of people who want to move because of the time zone, and a final group who will want to move because they've had enough of their country and want to try starting again in another. If you introduce two new countries at the same time this end group will have two choices instead of one, and there'll be people in the first groups who will want to switch to both but can only change to one. Doing it in two successive seasons means this last group will change for both new countries. As well as this, there may not be enough members to justify two countries at once, but there may be enough members when the second country is created. Finally, if two are created at the same time, it would disrupt the balance in the other countries too much - people would be moved around too much because of the number of people exiting their country to join another. That's what I think at least
Nah. The total to move will still be the same, the only advantage in delaying by a year is for the opportunists whose move to the first country is a failure to retest themselves in the second country.
Have you seen the new additions? franchises, pitch squares etc. Plus the community is muuuuch better and more active from what I've heard!
The battrick community is great, sledging boards etc, and as I said earlier they are getting better. I just find the Matches in FTP to be more realistic, better options as well. Also the training system and youth pulls in FTP are much better IMO.
The community is amazing.....I like the fact that I play both games, as they both offer something different. If they were both the same, I would end up chosing one over the other I suppose.
