If you compare the last 2 seasons of both the Vipers and the Rays (the previous seasons of the Vipers are irrelevant), if the Vipers win the shield it's safe to say they have been the better team across the two. It's ok though, we lack those big name players to even get us to the finals, let alone into the grand final.
Why would we discount your first few seasons? Also, spastic, you're like St.George from last season. Methodical, consistent, but lacking that extra gear. You lack the big names and will be shown up.
Like the Rays lacking the ability to match last seasons performance. Therefore your teams lacks those consistent players....poor form from the rays.
Because its a completely different side. And even if we didn't discount them, and we win the GF we'll still ahve achieved more. 1 premiership each, and we have 1 minor premiership to your zero.
Well both the 'new' Vipers and the Stingrays came in at the same time, so why not just make a direct comparison? It's like saying that the Vipers had more wins than the Stingrays in season 4 cause the Rays didn't play. If we are comparing the successes of the two franchises, only an idiot wouldn't see the difference between the old and new Vipers. The board is completely different, as is the CoS and HoR. But it's up to you how you see if, if you want to count the old stats, be my guest. I'll just point you to the last two seasons and show you that we have been better. Also, Eggman has had one of the best seasons a bowler has had in the BS (better than Farny last season when you were sucking him off). If they aren't signs of a class players, than I don't know what is.
blokes like Devonshire, Storer, Bots, Gee, Luffman have all had a shot at rep and under-performed. That's where you prove it.
And if we're talking about rep players. McGrath averages 54, and Erschoff who can't even make our side averages 58 in rep.
Nah. It'd be like comparing the Brisbane Broncos and Souffs. Souffs have more premierships but Brisbane have a far better success rate. Just like we've got a far greater success rate.
erschoff won't be there so that's irrelevent. As for McGrath, he's played limited games and had success against the lesser rep teams.
You Vipers must have the most ****ing retarded subbie. How could you not see that a make or break, one off game where the winner gets the premiership is not like the pressure of a rep game? Just look at Tyson for us last season. He was pretty ordinary in the regular season but came out and raped shit up in the semi and final. Without Vago and Tyson, two proven rep players, we would not have won last season.
