I'm okay with following your lead on a lynch, ftr. I would suggest that you pressure sooner rather than later though so that if someone claims and we believe them, we can still lynch another target.
Yea true. I'm going to lynch howe here - a few can pile on but obviously no hammer yet, just would like a claim from him. If we are convinced by what he says then I think Farhat is a good alternative lynch. Hasn't contributed much so far.
We know that N11 is reliable so I will probably lynch Howe as well. I think he deserves a chance to defend himself though.
Why unlynch McGrath. Shiv hasn't given any details, and seeing as the spotlight has been on Shiv as well, it seems a little convenient that the Shiv can clear McGrath with nothing but a suggestion that lynching him would be "unwise". If anything, Shiv's evidence firms up my thought of lynching McGrath. "unwise" covers a lot of bases if Shiv is even telling the truth.
Not really seeing what's suspicious about Howe here. Howe was third to go on the Uppercut lynch. His point that mafia wouldn't be so keen to jump on an uppercut lynch until the sniper shot is actually quite an interesting one. He goes off on a couple of weird hypotheticals, but that's pretty standard Howe IMO.
Bedsey had already lynched but just didn't bold it. I'm willing to take him at his word. It would seem like a dumb play to write lynch and then not bold it. If he were mafia, he could have done more to stop the lynch.
Can you explain this - as it's not true and all. I thought I conducted myself very well at the time given that I was extremely hung over. Don't understand where the suspicion has come from. I don't think I'm playing differently, but if I am, it's probably because I haven't actually played in so long. If I were Mafia in this game I would probably try to avoid day conversation altogether and hope town waste days with inactivity. I've been one of the more active people though. I understand there's a bit of wifom in there but the point ought to be made.
Shiv backing McGrath probably means that if one goes down the other will. 95% of the time Mafia don't try to help each other. So I'll play the odds and unlynch McGrath. Based on my earlier point, Lynch Farhat for not contributing
Because these things could move really quick while I'm not around and I don't want to be the leader of an incorrect lynch. But you're right, Shiv hasn't really given us much. But having read through Howe's posts again I'm inclined to agree that he's not mafia at the very least.
1) The failed shot occurred after Howe's lynch. Another 3-4 people jumped on before Escaths post. I'd look at them as well. 2) As for my defence, I was at the movies when the uppercut saga went down. I haven't contributed anything as I have nothing to report. Anything I know, everyone knows.
People who voted to lynch Uppercut: Number 11, Howe, Speirz, Notsure, Heef, Baxter, Bedsey, Farhat People who didn't: Shiv, McGrath So, the two people who didn't vote for the lynch are the two providing support to each other. I don't buy it. Lynch McGrath
I don't think not voting to lynch is automatically suss. It's always possible to not be online and I feel that mafia would make sure they vote for a lynch of one of their own. I reckon Shiv has played a more suss game by just jumping onto lynches.
Just going on what I said before, Maf would have known that Uppercut was going for the snipe after Howe's lynch. Thinking that Escath might not mention when the attempt happened, they might have got their lynches in before he posted so that they appear to not have waited for the snipe attempt. Did that make sense?
It's a fair point, but the flip side to that is that basically Uppercut came out as being mafia and town factions would have taken that as an immediate sign to lynch. Granted that makes the later votes less relevant to Howe's point, but the fact that Howe's vote preceded the Uppercut admission, that suggests to makes it less likely that Howe's mafia.
That's interesting. It draws attention onto Baxter, Heef and Notsure. Heef looks ok to me. Notsure looks like a new guy which is always hard to read. Brb after I have a look at baxters posts.
