    Happy with this week's performance by my team. Have made a couple of transfers and should continue to maintain my position in the top 3 imo, might bow out due to taking a 4 point penalty but in the long term I should thrive.

    When you say "free spot" you still keep his value - if he was worth 9.5mil you can swap him or another 9.5mil. You'll be charged for the transfer, though.

    Yeah. You keep players even if they move out of the PL. They just don't ever play, and get a permanent red block saying "no longer a part of the premier league" or something.

    Interesting. Some good value to be had then.

    Someone like Berbatov for example should do well at Fulham and was cheap due to being out of favor at United.

    Yeah Berba will be bought by a stuffload of teams imo. Allen has had the same issue iirc - was bought by Liverpool after the teams were made for FPL and so is just 5.5mil and starting.
