Celta Vigo currently top of La Liga. Up 2-0 over Barcelona at halftime!

Stindl is just playing off Raffael today and he's a decent player but I'd rather play a more creative player (Raffael) and play a natural goal scorer as the main striker. Unfortunately the big summer signing of Drmic hasn't come off yet and it means Raffael or even Hazard has played as the main striker and often been isolated. Today has been much better with Herrmann and Johnson supporting the Stindl and Raffael with Xhaka and Dahoud keeping things ticking over in CM

Dahoud does look like a tidy player in CM and hopefully he can form a partnership with Xhaka this season if he continues to impress

it was key getting Dominguez back. He's their best defender by a mile

just noticed that Aspas has scored haha

And Xhaka gets a yellow card. It was always going to happen *sigh* didn't need to pull back the player either

How the fuck has the ref given Augsburg a penalty for that? No one even appealed ffs

just both players going for the ball

    4-1

Dortmund down 1-0. Reus is back but Mkhitaryan has been solid and carried over his preseason form. Why can't he just shift to the right and have Reus on the left? They played like that last season on occasion. Mkhitaryan and Gundogan dropping to the bench from the last game was a bit strange for me.

He's come on for Hofmann after HT. Better late than never anyway.

4-2 this time it was a penalty

fuck sake lads. Don't fuck this up

It was purely rotation. They'd had 11 competitive games all ready this season and are still in all comps. Strongest side would be Mkhitaryan and Reus wide and Gundogan in for Castro, like we saw in the first couple of Bundesliga games.

Raffael just smashed the bar and a few minutes before that Traore hit the post

Adrian Ramos just missed an absolute sitter. Bicakcic missed one at the other end before that. Can't believe this game is still 1-1.

So glad I didn't out Dortmund in my bet now

got 5/1 on Gladbach, Leverkusen and Schalke

Yeah of course, I know that the two of them aren't out of favour or anything. It just was a pretty lacklustre first half performance but that's to be expected when two of your most creative players are dropped to the bench. Mkhitaryan and Gundogan were solid. I just thought at least one of them will start given their importance but fatigue management and rotation has to be managed.

I fancy Koln to stop Ingolstadt excellent away record this season by beating them tonight. I think they've won all their away games 1-0 which is impressive for a team that got promoted last season

And then Modeste has just made it 1-0. He looks a right handful whenever I've seen him play. Dominated the Gladbach defence when they played them

    1-1 Ht

Matip scored a great header from a corner however it was really poor defending from Koln. Just a free header from 10 yards out and no one on the post

overall it's been a decent game so far

    1-1 FT

Very disappointed second half from Koln. Their only tactic was to lump it Modeste. However they still nearly nicked it with Osako but hit it straight at the keeper from a corner

one thing is for certain, Jonas Hector is a level above all his teammates, and it won't be long before he's playing for a much bigger club
