    Last time/ Only time liverscouse have won the english first division and european cup was when it was Division 1, not the premiership, and teh champions league wasnt even the champions league. Dont talk about history or notts forest will be brought up. History means shit all if you cant do it today

    at the end of the day first division is first division. have some respect for the history of english football yeah?

    Liverpool have won 5 european cups, more than any other english club, these are facts.

    the thing with all of european football is that i like the spanish league better than the english because they have rules in place to stop people just buying anyone from an country that and you have to have so many homegrown players in the team and so on. But now the premier league have brought in the rules even john terry dosnt think they will work.

    You mean the 8 players home grown rules for the squad?? The one that every English team was already passed before it was even brought in?

    We did it easily
    Carrick, Scholes, Rooney, Rio, Foster, Brown, Owen, Welbeck

    all have played first team football and are relativly decent players.

    Arsenal Struggled and so did Liverscouse having to bring in some reserves.
    All teams can do it, and they will still do well in the tournament.

    Hes wrong in that the champions league doesnt count. But he has a point that Blackburn have won England main competition since its re-naming. And the Premier league is the best competition in the world.

    True it's hard to level the way we were with king kenny, rush and the likes but we have still won first division 18 times as well as 5 european cups, most of any other english team :D

    Well seen as the EPL era started in 1992 it pretty much is the only league titles that count anymore.

    Teams are COMPLETELY different. Because you had success in 1980something doesnt make your team good now. Look at nottingham forrests European record. Look at Leeds. You cant say there a good team now because they won a few things "back in the day".
