More fool all the clubs who wouldn't consider Sir Ronnie. Best manager in England.

TBF, as much as Ronnie probably wouldn't know what to do in the Prem, two thirds of top flight managers probably wouldn't be able to cope on the resources he's had over the years either.

He's never had us finish in the bottom half and he's always had a budget that falls in the lowest quarter in the division - 2nd lowest this season, ahead of only Walsall (who have also had a gun season).

Well true, but I'd say it's all relative to the league you're in. Reading resources aren't great if you compare it to the rest of our own division, but it would be a phenomenal amount of resources in League one.

Yeah, and there is no manager I'd rather have in the lower leagues than Ronnie.

Steve Coppell? Brian McDermott? ;) I guess Coppell's got a good amount of resources at Crawley though, I don't really know. But both managers did extremely well, considering the owner of the club had very little money, at a time when the club most needed it. Coppell did exceptionally well when he was in the premiership. Fairly certain the only player he bought for a million or more was Emerson Fae (or maybe it was Khalifa Cisse) and neither players were overly used.

Richie Barker is in charge at Crawley?

Oh, he was Director of Football.
