I am however considering putting the draft order in place by position on the season 2 standings list. If we do it this way, I will withdraw the Avengers from their early position to remove any accusations of favoring my own team and allow people to choose to "opt in" to randomised positions.
I don't even think I'd use any of mine. It'd be a toss up on Jimmy. But I like consistency. If 3 is too many then one 'marquee' player should be allowed.
I would like to see consistency in teams but I do think that allowing teams these players will likely be unfair. I'm happy to hear options to make this work though. Maybe something like you can pick a round 6-18 player from Season 2 as your round 2/3 pick.
Those who wish to have a marquee player must name them prior to the draft. These are then disclosed to everyone. Draft as normal, when a nominated player is drafted, the person who nominated them can choose to select them in advance for their next draft pick but must select last in the next 1/2/3 rounds if they use this option. i.e. Nominated players : Vernon Philander by player C A picks Dale Steyn *B picks Vernon Philander*C utilises option* Draft order at this point looks like A Dale Steyn B C Vernon Philander D D B A C A B D C D B A C or something
