    That's actually something that has me worried about a guy like Simmons in a simulated thing like this, his work rate is top notch and his finishing ability is proven, however he's not fast nor strong. There may well be more benefit in me playing a quick bloke like drury low or james roberts outside a back like Whare.

    Workrate is hate to code in as such, but Simmons's ability in the air, strong dummy half runs and most importantly excellent positioning will definitely help him.

    Positioning for backs is going to be really important; if they position themselves well you nullify the creativity of your opposition. Thurston throwing a cut out is so much more likely to be read and shut down by Simmons than by Low or Roberts.

    That said, I think it'd probably make more sense to play Roberts at centre and Low on the wing than it would be to waste SBW that wide. Although you're probably looking to sign another centre to solve that drama anyway.

    Nah, I said if they needed numbers I'd join, otherwise carry on. It's just a practice run anyway, it's nothing major and it's not like I'm completely taking the piss out of it by deliberately going for Shunts.
