    Basically the ball was handled off the line by the Egyptian, the assistant and Ref signalled a corner, the guy who handled it pretended that he hit his head. and then all of a sudden, Webb points to the spot and gives the Egyptian a red card, Kaka scores, Brazil win 4-3.

    The penalty and red were there, however they way it came about was wrong. 4th official can't rule on it.

    well it was a blatant handball and the egyptian player cheating by rolling round holding his face! tbh they can boycott the tournament no-one will miss them anyway...

    Yeah I don't care if it was a penalty or not, the 4th official is not a ****ing video referee.

    That is bullshit. Egypt were screwed over.

    LOL, Egypt are easily the "best of the rest" at this Confederations Cup. I rate them a thousand times higher than the likes of South Africa, Iraq or New Zealand.

    They are the African representatives so of course they will be missed, don't be dumb.

    Everyone would do it.

    No, they were knocked out of the last qualifying round along with China in a group that also contained Australia and Qatar.

    They make the Confederations Cup, however, because they are the Asian Champions.

    No we lost to them in the group stage, but both of us ended up making it through anyway.

    Australia ended up getting knocked out of the Asian Cup on penalties to Japan.

    Iraq won the final against Saudi Arabia, 1-0.

    Nobody. They have a 1 day break between each round.

    Tomorrow night, though, it is:

    Spain v Iraq - midnight
    New Zealand v South Africa - 4am
