Groovin was good. Drapht and The Wombats were epic, definitely highlights of the day. Bliss and Eso were so shit..
Yeah, I dont reckon they were that good either spent far too much time with their DJ's cock in their mouth. Art vs Science were again real good and Jezabels were awesome.
Yeah agreed about B&E. Art vs Science were pretty good and so were Birds of Tokyo. Overall a fairly good festival.
How was the security up there? They were goin nuts saying there will be heaps of sniffer dogs n shit down here but got there and there was nothing.
Security was good I thought. Some islander security guard let us jump a few barriers to cut a few massive lines. That was really the only interaction I had with security all day. Didn't pay for a drink all day either thanks to flirting with a minger chick who was working behind the bar. Drinks were ridiculously priced. Thank fuck I didn't pay for any otherwise my wallet would have been in the hurt locker. Did you go to the show in Bendigo? B&E fucked up and started calling the crowd here Bendigo..was hilarious.
Hahah, yeah I was at bendigo. Took in 600ml of vodka and other stuff that had me going all through the day and through the night so didnt have to buy drinks in there which was ideal, apart from buying soft drinks to mix with which there was some little caravan selling them 2 bucks cheaper than anyone else which hardly anyone seemed to find which was very good.
I need a festival that doesn't start until 6pm and goes until 2am, I can't hack being at festivals in daylight, I struggle to get into the music unless it's a really really gun act. Absolutely love a good lightshow and a doof though.
Go Team and Cut Copy were good, only got a few cut copy songs though cos everyone wanted to be at Drapht which clashed.
