International fixtures: I don't think there is a way to disable them, so what do we do when lots of players get international callups?
Nah. Make them all retired from internationals. You can't disadvantage people for picking good players.
I'm undecided about this. On one hand, it'll be an opportunity for the depth of the squad to be tested. On the other hand, it'll be frustrating for some people who will have their stars removed from the squad a lot.
Give people the option to retire 6 players from their squad could be an alternative? That way you don't lose your best players but it would take a bit away from the comp.
I like the idea of depth of squad being tested tbh, we're having squads of 25 and in all honesty the 25th player isn't ever going to make the bench unless you're hit majorly by injuries and suspensions. If a handful of players get called up here and there it'll be interesting. Won't be disappointed if we retire all players though as it'll make for a "balanced" competition. Just realised if we're all picking 3 keepers and there are 14 teams.... who is the 42nd best keeper in the world?
I'm liking the idea of only allowing a limited number of players to be internationally retired. It's a good balance between being able to play your best players and being forced to play some of the reserves.
