Pretty sure Hudson and Jack Frost were elevated to the senior list before the season started. Edit: Found the article http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/2013-03-19/two-rookies-promoted
I watched a bit of the VFL game last week and Thomas and Hudson killed them. Fasolo, Krakouer did nothing, and I think Didak played as well, but can't remember him getting a kick. We've got plenty of depth. Frost should be playing before Jordan frigging Russell too. Russell is useless. Why did we pick him up again?? Seedsman... soft as soft can get. Can we beat the Hawks, I bloody hope so.
Krak and Didak won't play much this year. With Blair and Elliot flying, Fasolo had a tough road ahead too.
Brad Sewell has been ruled out this week which is handy for us. In regards to Frost, he will most likely only play when one of Reid or Brown doesn't play or if the opposition has a top heavy forward line so he may not play all that often. We will also have Keefe back fully fit by about mid year who will also be fighting for that spot.
He's no good according to all non Collingwood supporters so shouldn't be a big loss Pretty big loss to be missing the skipper for that long
Maxwell is a good leader and backline general, but he's a complete shitfighter when he gets the ball, and is consistently beaten in one on ones. Pendlebury is our VC, and should be captain by 2014. Maxwell isn't even in our best 22.
Do you know how the Copeland voting works? You get 1 vote for getting a game. 2 votes for playing a better than usual game. 3 votes for an outstanding game. He's not in our best 22. He can't mark, position himself one on one, kick or handball. He is Jason Cloke all over again, but with aggression.
Yeah and he polled 96 votes. Which is more than the likes of Harry O'Brien, Jarryd Blair, Travis Cloke and Dale Thomas. Maxwell does a hell of alot of work off the ball which people don't see if you're watching the game on TV and he's probably lead the way in one percenters for the club for the last 5 years. Yes he's not the most talented player on the list but what he does is severley underrated. In the first Grand Final of 2010 he just about saved us the match when he dived to touch Nick Riewoldts shot on goal on the goal line in the last qtr. He does this week in week out and gets no recognition for it.
It's laughable at how everyone calls him a hack. If you watch our games on TV you probably have very right to say that though. When you go to the match, and watch what he does off the ball, then you will realize he is just a general. Look at Presti. Te bloke couldn't kick a ball to save his life yet is now a club champion
