Big prop from Penrith. This has to be the last City/Country given who is playing. Makes me extremely frustrated that Canberra have 5 of their most vital players taking part.
If I was Daley I'd be personally calling up every single cunt who pulled out with some half arsed injury and question their desire to play for NSW. Fancy Coote & Moylan pulling out. We don't realise how good we've got it with this game as a trial.
Having a disagreement on the gh atm. Who would you take at #1 for NSW? Coote or Moylan? For mine it's Moylan. Fucking lay down misere.
Yeah Moylan is basically what Coote would be now if he never did his ACL. I've always loved Coote but Moylan is better.
Moylan is better for mine too. Whilst Coote is very good, he is made to look much better than he really is due to the team he is playing in.
Coote fits Cows structure perfectly, but I think Moylan is what is needed for NSW. But seriously fuck this game off, I'm pretty happy players have pulled out, would hate to see Moylan injured in this shitshow. I think if it is ever to have a future it should be as a pre season fixture.
Sorta. I think Graham provides genuine middle third structure with his ball-playing, while Latu just tries to set up LBAs. Gun player anyway.
Heaven help us if Maloney plays Origin. No ball playing nous at all, mediocre kicker and probably the worst defensive half I the competition.
I really enjoyed this game, thought the brand of footy was the most enjoyable of the weekend and the quality was high too. It's always interesting to see how players perform when taken out of the confinements of their club structures. NSW would be crazy to let this game slip. Definitely highlighted some future rep players and cemented some who should be playing this year. I was most impressed with the second rowers, I don't get why we can pick a bunch of top second rowers in this game and then when it comes to Origin we pick or persist bloody plodders like Beau Scott, Ryan Hoffman, Glenn Stewart, Tony Williams & Josh Jackson whilst continuing to use Bird as a lock. I'm still not convinced we should be picking Bryce Cartwright just yet but I wouldn't be upset if he was picked. Boyd Cordner is very close to overtaking Bird in my books as the left edge forward, I'd probably use him in a lock rotation with one of Finucane/Vaughan/ at the moment though.
