Nah he's better then ordinary, he'll never be a superstar but he get's the job done. Very deceptive pace and good in the air (on attack and defense) Just has to work on his defense really.

 

At a club that has Steve Turner on the opposite side, Goodwin will be the number one winger there.

He isn't the best player in the world but he is far better than you are giving him credit for.

 

Agree to disagree. Turner is a disappointing buy imo. Hazem goes and we get a winger who is only marginally faster.

 

With any luck TK is lights out and when Goodwin gets back he replaces Turner. Never been a big fan and really don't like the signing.

 

Goodwin's a pretty fair goalkicker himself tbh. I remember hearing before his debut (for the Dogs) that he was right up their with Haz.

I've just never been a fan of Steve Turner so I'm going to be a little biased when judging him. I really didn't like the signing when we had the likes of Heka Nanai in RG.

 

He's also another short arse. We've always been one of the most bombed clubs because of our tiny wingers. Idris will be defending on one wing on the last tackle when on our line imo.

 

Turner's decent in the air though isn't he? He'd have to be better then what Haz was during 2009 surely.

Surprised to see Goodwin there as I thought I heard he was out for six plus weeks, great to see Gordon starting also. Benny Barba on the bench is also good to see, hopefully he gets a few more chances this season.
