Can Warren Smith PLEASE stop saying "of course"!!!!

    I can't take it any more! Yes, all commentators have their flaws (or in Andy Raymonds case, hundreds of flaws)... but honestly, next time Warren Smith is hosting (not so much in his calls, just when you can see him on camera) count how many times he says of course.

    I actually quite like Warren Smith but I have clocked him at more than 15 "of course"s in a ten minute period once on "NRL on Fox" and I really wanred to share my pain.

    Care cup away, it just shits me. Rant over.

    The close talker isn't that bad.. Can't say I've noticed this mass over use of "Of course", but I'll keep an ear out.

    Haha, I've actually noticed that he says this heaps on The NRL Pre-Game Show and NRL on Fox as well. He doesn't seem to use it as much when he's actually calling a game though.

    Bang on! He can talk normally in commentary but when he is in front of a camera it is used at least one in every statement.

    I don't think Ikin has said that for quite some time. Happy to be proved wrong but I think he put that one back in his kit bag not long after every man and his dog started pointing it out.
