Prior to broadcast, the title of the episode resulted in several attempts to speculate on its meaning. The episode title is an anagram of the word "Finale", while also consisting of the symbols of three chemical elements Iron (Fe), Lithium (Li) and Sodium (Na). It is speculated that these elements represent blood, methamphetamine and tears respectively. It is also speculated to be a reference to the 1959 Marty Robbins song "El Paso", which is about an unnamed cowboy who falls in love with a Mexican woman named "Felina", commits murder for her, goes into exile, and then returns to her (with "Felina" in this instance being Walt's money from his drug empire, which he is returning to New Mexico for). Shiftiest cunts.
Just watched the ep. Set it up nicely. I don't mind Todd but fuck he is a cold-hearted cunt. Walt looks so dead and buried too, but he's going to go on a motherfucking rampage, I can feel it. Hope the finale is given movie length status too.
I can feel it too. It's mainly the feeling I get when there is a portentous preview of the future which involves the protagonist taking receipt of a car containing an M60 machine gun.
Nuh wasn't me Haven't seen it yet Thought about it all day at work though and thought it'd be perfect if Walt met up with Lydia who begrudgingly sat across from him where he slipped in the ricin in. Would be perfect as Lydia breaking from her instinct of absolute caution would in a completely different way lead to her demise
