Yeah she does, I didn't even know she was Australian at first. Her parents are Polish though and she speaks like 1000 languages apparently so she's used to changing her accent around I guess.
Yeah she's not exactly a typical Aussie chick as such, given she learnt Polish as a first language and spoke it at home. Having to swap between Polish and English growing up, right since she learnt how to speak in the first place, would give her an advantage in being able to pull off other accents.
Either Rose Byrne or Geoffrey Rush. The latter needs no explanation. As for Rose Byrne, she's one of the most talented female actors in the world. She's a superior actress to half the leading actress winners of the last 10 or 15 years. She's twice the performer of Nicole Kidman. Honourable mention to Guy Pearce, David Wenham and Heath Ledger.
Rose Byrne is nowhere near as brilliant as you make her out to be IMO. Just a massive crush I reckon. In saying that though I'm incredibly sexist when it comes to rating acting and rarely highly rate any female actors as individuals. I think Ellen Page has been pretty awesome thus far and I think Drew Barrymore and Kate Winslett are pretty fucking underrated as well.
I don't think I've ever seen Rose Byrne in anything except Star Wars Ep II where she played a nothing role, and Bridesmaids. She's either done fuck all, managed to cunningly get cast in a stack of movies I haven't actually seen or just not been very memorable in anything.
