Baseball Sim Information for Owners/Selectors

THINGS FOR TEAM OWNERS/SELECTORS TO TAKE NOTE OF

Default Strategy - Teams can opt to have a set of strategies that will be used for all games unless otherwise specified. Initially the default strategy is to use the average value, 5, for all options. Note that these can all be changed on an individual game basis if you wish to do so.

All options are grouped into Innings (1-3, 4-6, 7-8, 9+) and then further into the game score situation (leading by 4+, 3, 2, 1, tied game, losing by 4+, 3, 2, 1). So for example, you can set one strategy for innings 4-6 when your team is leading by 2 and another one for innings 9+ when it's a tied game.

All options are on a scale of 0-10. What the numbers will correlate to for each option is given in brackets. For example, for Stealing Bases (Never-Frequently), a 0 means never and 10 means frequently.

Pitchers - You must nominate at least one pitcher and one relief pitcher per game.
Special rules regarding the use of pitchers are as follows:
-Pitchers may not pitch more than 12 innings per two consecutive games OR more than 15 innings per three consecutive games.
-A pitcher that starts in one game may not be a reliever in the following game, ie they must start the next game as well, if they are to play

I don't see the point in more team subbies.

As for a subbie for this sim, if this does get going I daresay we'll get one eventually.

Could all teams please PM me with their lineups for these trial matches. This is mainly so I know you understand what I want from you each game, so please do it. Template in second post.

 

Are any clubs still short of players/specific positions? I'm willing to sign up as w/e to help out any team.

 

Pretty sure I was fine with signing with you guys...I just completley forgot about it. Besides, I'm trying to smooth over Escath so he can carry me to The International 2013.

Should also take the chance to set a different set of default strategy options if you wish.
