Yeah would be good if SS was held in a city like Chicago or something to really drive the point we dont want Reigns yet. Might even give Sheamus a bit of steam. Too bad its in Atlanta though, there wont be a sound.
Pretty certain thats what we were getting at SS anyway. But instead of a slow building story that culminates in their feud for the title we get a shotgun tournament that will only cause further resentment against Reigns if he wins. Injury sucks for Rollins, sucks for Reigns, sucks for everyone.
The funny thing is that if they had just kept Daniel Bryan off the Royal Rumble, Reigns would've been super hot going into WM and probably would have won and still super hot today. Also, I'm actually not that surprised at this injury. I've thought to myself a few times that he must be really exposing his knees by the amount of times he does moves that require him to land hard on his feet, like the attitude adjustment where he flips back onto his feet, those sort of impacts would be harsh.
I don't think Reigns was going to win. It wouldn't make any sense. I couldn't see Rollins losing his title until that planned storyline of HHH turning on him started to come about.
Guessing reigns wins the tourny. Though it sucks rollins had to drop the title this way, tourneys are always the goods
Yeah it might throw a spanner in the WM main event as well as they seemed to be building to a Shield Triple Threat.
Met Dean Ambrose and Finn Balor yesterday. Hope both of them become world champ at some point Also I hope Ambrose and Owens have a tv feud, they have been smashing the live shows apparently.
Seems as though they were supposed to but that has been canned thanks to the Rollins injury. I'm assuming it's going to be Reigns v Ambrose at Survivor Series. If I was them I would turn Reigns heel. That's the best way to make him popular again.
