I agree Pearce' best is better than Hodkinson's best; though his worst is much worse IMO. Thing with Hodkinson is he appears (to me at least) to understand his game more so than Pearce. He therefore is less likely to push the last pass or telegraph his hand to such a degree as Pearce would.
Yeah he can be a bit of a shit cunt sometimes with his short balls putting his runner under huge pressure.. and then other times he can pull them off really well. But in Origin there's less holes and more likely the runner is going to get smashed and cough up the ball.
Hodkinson overcalled the play that Reynolds had set up on the right to score the try, thank fuck Farah heard him.
Still don't rate him that highly. He knows how to stand up when the time comes but he becomes non-existent for large periods of games, as he did tonight.
