    I wouldn't be at all surprised if I heard this language coming from most U10 coaches though tbh. They might not ride players for mistakes, but the language wouldn't be sweaky clean.

    I referee junior footy, there's some absolute dickhead coaches out there. None as harsh as Tunza but yeah the language is definitely not always squeaky clean. It's not so much language, it's more the hooking of the kids when they drop a ball or something.

    If I'm picking up on your sarcasm right then I agree.

    Just because the local trash (pick various suburb you want) speak to their young kids like this doesn't make it right. Personally I don't think language like this should be used from an adult when speaking to pre-high school kids.

    13-14 yrs olds and upwards I have no problems with.

    I get what TC is trying to do....(I'm at odds with one of my sons football clubs and their attitude of "all the players MUST get time on the field" so the coach spends all his time watching the stopclock so he can evenly rotate the players. He spends more time doing this instead of coaching IMO)

    TC wants the boys to succeed and do well. Good on him for that. I just think that he could maybe limit the language to the odd spray/F-bomb....so that it is used more as a exclamation point, rather than as part of his normal vocabulary.

    Should he have been stood down.....definitely not. Should have been spoken to long before this became so published?....defo yes,

    although I kind of expect such lack lustre management from the Aspley Devils RLFC. They have long promoted being a scummy environment.

    I had some great old school coaches - one of my mates in a side I was in around 13/14 got absolutely blasted by the coach for trying to chip kick in his own half when we were leading by 4 with 10 mins left in a game and the coach called him and I quote " a retarded spastic who should go over to Gladstone and play Soccer"


    To explain I was playing for a club in a town called Smithtown which is one one side of the macleay river and Gladstone is an equally small town directly accross the river which had a soccer side lol


    Getting told we were "tackling a bunch of sheila's on their period" was another coaching gem from that coach :lol:

    I just keep watching it. Such a good call.
    Of course it's normal. It made news because Tunza is a fucking god among mortals.
