    As if you wouldn't want Prince at Brisbane. I'd love him at the Cows. They should give him a three year deal and heavily back end it as they'll likely lose at least one of Thurston, Scott or Tamou after next year anyway.

    I sympathise with your feelings Jaz and the obvious motivations that underpin them, however, think about it like this - if we signed Danny Buderus he'd be the best hooker at our club; that doesn't mean it's a wise decision, I think you'd agree. In fact I think it would be disastrous in that it would set back or forestall the progression of those we do already have and will have for many years to come. Prince (32) isn't quite as old as Buderus (34) but he'll enter well into the retirement years when he turns 33 in February next season, and given his form over the last 3 years, particularly 2011, you'd be a brave man to sign him on anything more than a 1-year deal, which I maintain would be ridiculous. I mean unless we win the premiership in 2013 I see it as nothing but a waste of money and a depredation of the young talent we already in the process of concretising in FG. And Griffin would be shark bait if it went sour - The coach who brought back an aging Prince to finish his career at the Broncos as tumultuously as it began.
