    We did lack a little depth in the backline though, hopefully this fixes that.

    Eels are offering him 500k but his first preference if he comes back to Sydney is to move back home to the Eastern Suburbs. Only problem is despite what the Newspapers reported about him leaving the Roosters because the club decided to pursue other props he's banned from nearly every club & pub in Sydney and was basically sacked/not re-signed for disciplinary reasons. The club know the Daily Telegraph would tear him a new one if he hasn't matured. By the sounds of it he'll stay at the Cowboys though so long as they make a decent offer, this is all from a good source.

    Peter Wallace wanted to play for the Roosters but he would've been stuck behind Josh Lewis & Jamie Soward in Jim Beam Cup to even get a look in at Reserve Grade.

    Bellamy has always maintained he'll see out his Storm contract and he's stated his next contract will probably be his last. Doesn't really strike me as the type of bloke who's looking for a new challenge.
