I've had the developer version for the past few weeks and there were quite a few bugs so it'll be good to get the full release.
I had the GM release for the past week or so Seems to work pretty well, haven't really noticed any major changes apart from the notification centre I guess.
Too many people were updating so my phone could not verify with the server during the installation. Will have to do it when I get home now.
My main computer where I sync internet isnt working, what will happen if I update it on my laptop, all my music n shit will obv sync from the laptop but I can just plug it in to my main computer and resync that back. I wont lose my messages or anything if I update to 5 through my laptop will I?
You shouldn't lose anything. I restored my phone to factory settings then installed ios5 and still kept all the messages because I backed up to the laptop prior to doing that (it does it automatically)
Works well on my 3GS. The developer version was quite buggy and slow but this runs fine. iMessage is a cool idea. Too bad only two of my friends have iOS devices.
Still got iOS4. CBF downloading fucking iTunes then the software. It's too much for my shitty internet.
Hey mate, Is the macbook air worth getting? I might get one next year since my current macbook is getting old and the battery isnt the best.
The Air is amazing for the size it is. The only thing that puts me off it is that you can't expand the memory further 'cause it's soldered to the motherboard. Least with the Pro you can get it done if you want to. And the lack of an optical drive as well.
loving the cloud, managed to get over 100 songs that itunes wouldn't previously let me re-download without paying again.
