Well, you take reputation and most of his career out and yeah. I mean in 08 he was injured for long while - Missed the entire Origin series. And for significant periods in 07 and even 09 he was pretty ordinary - Plenty of people calling for his retirement.

If we're going on club football alone (not including rep) then I'm fine with Lockyer's placement.

Why would his rep make a difference? 07, 08 and 09 weren't his better years, IMO. This year and 06 were far better I reckon.

This year was pretty much his best since 2006. I'd definitely have him in the top 10 once again, if not top 5. I know it was written at the start of the year, but oh well.

lol, well I didn't know at the time he was gonna have a solid club season and an excellent Origin series.

Lockyer seems to fire up the most when people are questioning him. Should continue to do so next year.

    Foran's out for the 4-nations.

    6. Bunji
    7. Fein

Looks about how it will be

Frank Pritchard in doubt for the tests.

Ukuma Ta'ai has chosen to go with Tonga for his rep duties.

Tony Williams is reportedly contemplating sticking with Tonga also, despite being named in the 25 man train on side.

Tonga could actually be an epic side tbh

Has the 25 man train on actually been named?

  10. SM MD Dorn

    yea somewhere

  11. Magic AJ Parker

Sure you don't mean the 43 man squad?

  12. Howsie DP Howell

    Nope.

Edit: Yea the 43 man squads been named, they don't usually name the 25 man squad until after the finals iirc.

    6 Benji Marshall
    7 Nathan Fien
    8 Frank-Paul Nuuausala
    9 Issac Luke
    10 Fuifui Moimoi
    11 Adam Blair
    12 Simon Mannering
    13 Jeremy Smith

    14 Lewis Brown/Lance Hohaia
    15 Jared Waerea-Hargreaves

A couple of options really, in terms of where Hohaia fits into but Brown could easily play utility forward role on the bench.
