Welcome ladies and gents to a chilly night here at the newly named ICA Stadium where the revamped Hawks and Cyclones teams will face each other for their first games of the competition. Well, we have just come off a cracker of an opener where the Pumas fell to defeat of the Donkehs. There was some feeling behind that match as they were the 2 new clubs on the block. However, these two clubs will be feeling just the same as both have been re-vamped with the Hawks having a completely new structure and the Cyclones playing group changing. Now, both teams have had big off seasons in terms of recruitment. For the Hawks, they have kept a number of foundation players in their side with quality players such as Davis, Gemmell, Wilson and Gayler returning from a 1 season suspension after testing positive to homosexuality. Of course, their biggest recruit comes in start halfback and new captain, Tim Taylor who looks to steer his side to a second premiership. As for the Cyclones, the new recruits come more in the face of new comers as they have also kept some foundation players. The likes of Green, Fittler, Farhat and Dempsey have the experience to steer their team forward. With new guns such as Taylor, Weaver and Logan who look to spark their side with some size and mobility around the park. As we are almost ready for kickoff, here are tonights lineups: Hawks: 1. Daniel Davis (danno) 2. Gani Shriram (Shri) 3. Neville Stacker (noodlez) 4. Travis Webber (Deadleydemon) 5. Daniel Speirs (Speirz) 6. Ryan Gayler (RyanG) 7. Tim Taylor (Toolman) 8. Jason Denton (nz0003) 9. Scott Wilson (Wilson) 10. Peter Retzel (Pretzel) 11. Luke Tyson (K9) 12. Adam Vagon (Snake) 13. Brett Gemmell (Boobidy) Interchange: 14. Theo Miokovic (Theo) 15. Damien Taylor 9. Jack Dempsey 10. Gareth Weaver 11. Ben Read 12. Sam Green 13. Bob Borisc Interchange: 14. Super Nova 15. Matt Hayes 16. Andy Pimpkins 17.
