2 errors, 1 penalty conceded and gave Penrith a try. Dunno what all the fuss is about this Darren Lockyer guy. Starting to think that too.
I thought Graham's long kicking game was good last night. That one grubber wasn't very good but it is nothing to worry about. Next week I would really like Lewis just to take a step back in the play making role and just run like he normally does and only pass it occasionally. Graham needs to be involved at 5/8. He was pretty much playing a third reciever last night and that should be Lewis' job. Graham definitely needs to be retained but its going to be tough for Mr Elliot to choose a 5/8 once again.
That is Te'o who is contesting it. Show the picture where Hoffman steals the ball out of Coote's arms.
Brisbane were pretty poor but could have easily won if the ref calls went their way. The Yow Yeh try and that Penrith duder intercept that was arguably offside.
Yeah I know that. Its the only decent picture I could find that showed Coote jumping for the ball. Hoffman was the best Bronco last night IMO along with Thaiday. Yow Yeh's try was a try and it should of went upstairs but it happened in the 15th minute so the Broncos still had plenty of time to come back. That pass from Lockyer was pretty bad actually and I thought Purtell did a good job at intercepting it. He seems to be good at that. I still don't think he should be playing centre but that is a different discussion. You know on the referee. Badger normally hates us but he was a little kinder last night. I don't think you can blame the ref though. The Broncos won the penalty count 9-3 or something ridiculous like that. It was the drop balls that cost them. They were playing like they were when the Knights beat them but they were just a little better last night. You got to give credit to Penrith though, they played well and their defence was very good. Saw a stat this morning that had Jennings with 22 tackles and only 2 missed. I thought that was amazing. I didn't think he made that many. Kingston was really good in defence last night as well with 37 tackles. For Dally M this week I would have: 3- Luke Walsh 2- Lachlan Coote 1- Sam Thaiday/Josh Hoffman (Open to criticism)
Yeah, and I thought Purtell was a little offside. He started rushing up earlier. Penrith definitely did play better and deserved the win.
You can't use a penalty count as a reason as to why the refereeing wasn't bad towards a team. One of the worst displays I've ever seen.
I admit the referee's were pretty bad and I also believe that Badger made a major blunder in not going upstairs for the Yow Yeh try but I can say that the penalty count was against Penrith meaning that the Broncos were given opportunities to score. They were unable to capitalise on the opportunities given to them. The reason why they didn't win.
I don't think he was any more offside than usual, just about everyone in the NRL starts a bit in front of the ref.
Who was the little arab **** ref? I was at the game, 12 rows back on the other side of the field with the Yow Yeh no try. I could see what happened from there and the little prick couldn't go upstairs.
Hahaha, Jennings looks so epic in the picture. "Rock up at Suncorp only wearing 1 boot, leave a couple hours later, somehow I got 2"
