Let's not let our hatred for tsf cloud the fact that he's averaging 20 going at 4 rpo and that includes bowling at the death.
They weren't even worth disputing. Amongst that group you probably would be close to captain with me and Rusty not in it. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of 5 fasties and Perry. I could probably bring a breakthrough but I'd be too costly at rep level.
The issue with Manera is that I could see it being a recipe for disaster having both him and Vago in the top 3. Both are striking at around 70. I like the idea of Vago accompanying attacking batsman. One issue could be the shortened batting card we'd be running though.
I think this season has shown, though, that keeping wickets in hand for the first 30 overs is the best way to set a score of 275+. We've seen the last five overs go for 15+ each when teams have enough batting to just go ape. It's probably easy for me to say this given I'm a defensive opening batsman who takes wickets in the middle overs, but I think being conservative at the top is the way to go ATM. In a way though it's good that you disagree.. shows the extra tactics involved in picking OD teams.
We've gotta go with different tactics to have a shot at beating nsw. Your team should wipe the floor with all, really.
all 8 of my wickets have been in the death the one game i didn't take wickets was the game i didn't get my last spell
If I were to make a similar thread in the BS forum, what are the chances that stats would be posted in it as well?
I don't really see a great need for stats for bs because you can just use the website. I really just wanted these so that I could see if any batsman in the rays, or any bowler for tht matter, was particularly bad but I just wasn't seeing it.
