Your for and against in tipping would be better than me. But I'd get a point, you wouldn't. Typical for a kiwi to need to find a positive out of a pile of shit.
Wasn't even referring to you in that post you just quoted. That wasn't a pile of shit anyway. It was a good performance against a top team away which I predicted would be close. If not for feet-for-hands Wright and a ridiculous penalty try ruling by the bunker we should have won. You got it badly wrong in expecting Sharks to win by 20. Admit you were wrong or STFU
Sharks (and you) got lucky. Incomprehensible selection change to have Aussie shitcunt Jonathan Shite starting and leaving arguably our best player on the bench. Coach needs to explain himself there. That penalty try was utter bullshit too. Ah well still one of the best performances of the season for the boys and we'll bounce back next week against the Tits at home.
I've heard this thrown around a shit load since last night and it's an awful argument. If you're not going to award a penalty try based on not having 100% certainty that the player is going to ground the ball, the option for a penalty try needs to be scrapped. There is no instance where a penalty try would be an option if there wasn't uncertainty over the put down. If the player got the ball down then it wouldn't even need to be looked at for a penalty try, it'd just be a try ffs.
^Yep. It's basically a myth. It is referee discretion. You just need to be confident beyond reasonable doubt that a try would've been scored. Frankly I think Mannering should've been binned as well. Now this is a bad penalty try. No way Shearer gets to that in time. https://youtu.be/gJGdJJNk9nc?t=1297
