    Not with his complete lack of kicking game.

    Maybe.
    We may need his attack, but then again we may not. I'm sure that without Hayne there we will need to change the way we play a bit. Gower and Edwards both played Paulo's role at time this year to decent effect.

    Then again I might completely change my mind on the whole team come round 1 next year.

    Anyway, I'm really hoping that Ryan Matterson can improve enough to take Paulo's role in the future.
    This kid has skills (he needs to work on his kicking a bit if he wants to be an NRL half) and has plenty of size and good defence. He could be an effective middle-half/forward.

    If Hopoate doesn't improve from this year he will be deplorable at fullback. He was pretty ordinary this year.

    Hopoate was doing fine until Origin.
    There he fucked his shoulder and was playing hurt the rest of the year. His defence suffered tremendously from that.

    He has had another year under his belt and will get a full season training at fullback (his preferred position). He may not have the speed of other fullbacks, but he has good ball skills and defensive awareness. He's the least of my worries tbh.

    He was way off the pace before origin and the only reason he was picked was because he did a good job when he was 19. Hopoate on big money is a massive negative for Parra IMO.

    250k in second tier salary cap fines is an absolute joke.

    Honestly who gives a fuck what clubs pay outside of the top 25. The fact they infringed by 250k probably on the back of injuries and mid season transfers is punishment within itself.

    They are a top 4 side, they have a small chance of making the 8 minus 8 points. Big breaches should mean they have no chance of finals footy.

    Is the current team still breaching the cap (I am so fucking lost with what is happening)? I don't see why they should be unable to play Finals footy this year as a punishment for a previous years trangressions.
