    Night Five

    He had been given a weapon and protection in all good faith. The choice of Tali'zorah nar Rayya had been strong, but it had been telegraphed. Little did he know that all his equipment had been sabotaged. He peered through the sights of his sniper rifle and he could see his target. A deep intake of breath and he rechecked the range and air speed. He wasn't exactly comfortable with using a sniper rifle, but he had a clear shot. He took another gulp of air and squeezed the trigger.

    The target stood rooted to the spot as he heard the report. He looked around to see where it had come from, but he couldn't see the source. He trotted off to safety sharply.

    The gunman, however, stood no chance. The rifle had been booby trapped and the bullet exploded in the chamber. With the calibre of weaponry he was using, the explosion was not survivable.

    Shri is dead. He was Kaiden Alenko.

    Night continues. The deadline remains the same.

    And yeah you might have been attacked and not named in the write up, McGrath seems fairly certain that's him and it's a big risk to take to spout bs. So like blunder is hinting at... I wanna know if this is a certain cc on the write up or maybe both of you got attacked and only one was mentioned

    Actually reading it again it sounds like the gun athlai gave him was fine but someone probably visited Shri to sabotage his gun.

    If anyone watched Shri or tracked someone to Shri, that info needs to be made public. Eevryone who is known to have visited Shri needs to be questioned

    I think he was probably a gunsmith and armoursmith. Write up says that "he had been given a weapon and protection in good faith. So I'm guessing the sniper and a bulletproof vest. Mentions athlai's dead character in the write up. Furthermore it says Kaiden was not confident operating the sniper so it was probably given to him and not his own.

    It's certainly possible that we were both attacked and only one mentioned.
    But I was definitely attacked, by Himann.

    As to whether McGrath was also attacked or is bullshitting, I'm not sure, leaning towards the latter.
    A few write ups have included unsuccessful attacks, including this one.
    So I don't know why there would suddenly be one left out.
