He'd sent his operatives after the Krogan before and he'd managed to hurt him. Surely nothing could go wrong if he sent more operatives to take him out. In the intervening period, the Krogan had gained in strength and significantly at that. There would be no escape for his operatives, the Krogan slaughtered them and enjoyed it. He thumped his desk on the arm of his chair in anger and frustration. An opportunity wasted, but his operatives were at least expendible. There'd always be more volunteers where they came from.

The back streets and alleyways of Omega are dangerous places to frequent. So often people go missing and are never found again. Who would notice the loss of a Quarian from the station? The Asari Matriarch waited for her target and when she saw the Quarian approach, a couple of quick moves was all it took to puncture her environment suit. The marine was a tough opponent and the two fought together for what seemed like hours. In the end, the fight was spotted and the Assassin was forced to retreat, but his target was clearly in some pain.
