    Holding off on lynching as this stuff between kata and Shri is making me nervous and I'll have to review this information again

    the last time someone said they'll take full responsibility if they are wrong, it went so very wrong and we are no better off with them taking full responsibility as we got fucked and they are dead...

    Its kind of scary playing heef's games

    Yeah, agreed. Shri backing Kata up makes me feel more comfortable, but the whole responsibility thing doesn't matter in my eyes. If he turned out maf and we automatically lynched Shri, we could very easily be shooting ourselves in the foot.

    Shri are you backing him based more on your role/information or theme knowledge?

    Yeah it was nothing. Back to my Kata is clean stance. He was investigating escath while he was already being attacked. Why would he do that if he was mafia?

    The he problem is he's not "backing" him. The "tentative clearing" is playing a dangerous game. That's the only thing making me nervous

    the good thing is if kata is not giving town a lot to benefit from, (which he should over time given his role and how useful it is identifying reds) it will become obvious to us. If he suddenly becomes useless and starts spouting the hey guys I only got innocents and doesn't contribute anything else then I would be more suss of him at that point. Yeah we should be wary of him but it's not like he is even close to a lynch candidate right now because of the potential upside he can serve. Obviously his cryptic shit followed by bidding really doesn't help us feel more secure but I understand it in a game like this.
