    Say a player has a great game 3, then only plays 2 games due to injury before the next origin series, does he still get retained?

    He has actually been playing well this year for the Knights.

    Last year he couldn't prove himself at club level because he kept getting himself injured. He played only 6 or 7 games for the Knights last season.

    That's exactly what happened with Nate Myles and he's torn New South Wales a new arsehole in every game he's played for Queensland, so yeah, providing said player proved his fitness.

    I see what your saying and I agree with it some what and personally I would be pretty happy with Cross in origin as I think he's been playing quite well and he strikes me as one of those blokes built for origin. However I don't think he had enough of an impact last year to be picked on that alone.

    I really wouldn't care in the slightest if Cross was left out (providing he was left out for an actual prop and not a back rower they planned on playing at prop..). I don't think he's integral to our success. I'd pick him though and I take offence to anyone saying he definitely shouldn't be there, as he has a good case to the spot.

    Well, tbh that's not a horrible team.

    Swap Ennis with Farah, The Wingers for Best and Monaghan and Waterhouse for Gallen/O'Donnell and you've got a good side.

    And of course the obvious Campese for Soward, I thought I didn't have to mention it but people would think otherwise.
