The ref was wrong. TMO corrected him

our backs have been better. Your 12 and 13 and 14 have not been good enough in the last 60 minutes of the game despite twelvetrees early line break. Your 10 was excellent, Your 9 was patchy - poor kicking but good passing game but an upgrade on Youngs.

Nothing wrong with your forwards. And I will trade you Dane Coles for anyone in you like in your pack. I spotted him twice out on the wing instead of helping out his mates at the ruck.

Barrett really is so much better than Cruden. Sladeovercrudenforthecup!!!

    I'm still confused.

Surely "the ball was't grounded" is the correct answer to "Give me a reason not to award the try" ?

  5. Jabba HJ Bots

Yeah that stumped our viewing party aswell

I didn't see these posts before I made mine, yes this is essentially my analysis of the difference between the sides.

The ball was grounded. The ref didnt see the frame that showed the grounded ball because hes too far away from the big screen. The TMO did see it, corrected him and it was given

Just showing there the ashton twelvetrees shud have happened much much earlier

Fucken nice offload Manu, thought we had thrown that position away.

One point flatters England in the end, but a few things to smile about.

Ashton goes for the swan dive running in a try any prop could have made when we've lost. Cue press release how he doesn't understand why people don't like him

When Farrell went off they needed to bring on Burns rather than have a bloke playing his worst game in a year switch into first reciever

    Crusaders vs England.

I hope England play all their second string players - hate for someone to get injured. I strongly disagree with touring teams playing our super sides, the game will turn into a test match basically.

I don't think Crusaders will play all their best names in the middle of a season, and I would very much like to not lose every game on tour.

    Ben Smith is a freak

Disagree, There's no picture that shows the ball grounded at any point, only picture that shows it held up with his own hand between ball and ground. The TMO then said to the ref that it's own hand that held it up not Jane's.

Unless my whole life has been a lie and you don't actually have to ground it, I think the decision was wrong.

England's coaching staff to make the call I guess. I think England can win the third test and I would put my energy into that.

They do need a specific game plan to beat us. If Manu isn't going to be in the centres then you need to go back to 1980s style 10 man rugby and beat us with kicking and penalties. That will also stop us from counterattacking from broken play.

Also Vunipola looked like the best player on the field for the 10 minutes he was on. Start him and arguably your forwards will be better than ours (that's how highly i think of your pack).

Yeah. In fairness Twelvetrees has been shit at 12 for England all year imo. Eastmond was far far better last week, and if not him I'd like to see the Burrell Manu partnership given a try. Manu was totally impotent on the wing - the experiment there didn't work at all. the only threat he had there was at the end of the first half where he didn't have the gas to go all the way. Meanwhile we were leaky as fuck in the middle of the park.

Well we didn't hear what the TMO said on this end, so i was just assuming thats what he said.

He is first choice normally... Morgan was just given the chance because we was excellent last week. I think Lawes needs to start next week in the pack as well... really missed his defensive work in the loose imo

Nah can't agree with the bolded. Has been very up and down.

    Rest true

I am glad you said that. he is not a wing. Maybe they were frustrated with that clown May being out there last week and thought they needed some firepower on the wing I don't know.

Manu is the best 13 in the world. Play him there.

I do like Morgan - and if he can play blindside I would move him there to allow the beastly Vunipola to play.

He was good in patches but even in his best game (was against Wales or Ireland, but cant remember off the top of my head) he faded. I just don't think he's consistent enough atm to be relied on. I don't think I'd even have him in my 23 next week.

I think I'd like to see Eastmond given a go again out of the two alternatives. He dominated Nonu and is a better distributor than Burrell which seems to be a big part of the Lancaster ethos.

I think it was more to do with the form of Burrell and wanting to get all three centres into the side. What disappointed me most with him at 14 was I never saw him come off his wing and hit the 10-12 / 12-13 channels once. With a head of steam behind him taking a pop from Farrell/36 he could have been devastating but he didn't move at all.

I like having Morgan on the bench, it allows Billy V to run and run and run for 60 minutes and just devastate defences at full throttle in the knowledge Big Ben will do the same for the last 20
