What, Barrett has been exceptional all season. If he ever had to work on it it's certainly improved to a point where he is significantly better then the other 2 options

Barrett's inside defence use to be fucking terrible. He has improved though.

Yes but atm it's at a ridiculously high level. Look at the tackles he just made in the England series

Super Rugby level is a different story unfortunately.

We are talking about them on the international stage though, otherwise I wouldn't be giving Cruden such a hard time because he is very good in super rugby

AFIAC it's harder for him to defend internationally because players aren't looking to force numbers on the flanks as much like super rugby. He has players lining him up all day internationally, not to mention he made some superb cover tackles.

Still not completely sold on Barrett's defence, given his track record though. Sure it's better and was good during the series but I wouldn't put money on him not missing a crucial tackle.

SA-Scotland game was pretty interesting, reckon the scoreline was a bit harsh on the Scots. They had long periods where they'd hold out well, and then they'd just collapse.

Nasty intentional obstruction that nearly gave le Roux concussion, though.

Pretty impressed with Cornel Hendricks so far. Gave it 100% and backed himself well.

Not sure I'm sold on Pollard. Will be great in the future, but he was pretty predictable this game.

Still reckon Le Roux is the best player we have. Ridiculously slippery and clever.
